The Doctors at Highgate Hill Doctors pride themselves on making sexual health accessible and easy to talk about. Our Brisbane Sexual Health Clinic is embedded in our practice and is led by Dr Laurel Moore. Our clinic provides thorough and up to date advice and treatment for all patients.

Straight, LGBTQ+ and sex workers are welcomed.

STD Checks

All Doctors are up to date with the latest tests and treatments for all Sexually Transmissible Diseases. However, for those that are more tricky, complexed or raise any doubts, the Doctors have a network of contacts with some of Brisbane’s best specialists.

All sexual health testing and screening can be arranged right here at Highgate Hill Doctors. If you feel more comfortable doing these yourself at home, this can generally be arranged. Likewise, for the needle phobic – many of the important tests do not involve taking bloods.

The practice also offers PREP for select patients.

Sexual Function

Th Doctors are very comfortable discussing and treating most sexual issues from erectile dysfunction to painful sex or libido mismatch. They can treat these at Highgate Hill Doctors, and for anything more complex, they can refer to specialist doctors and sex therapists as needed.
